Fred is an urban development and planning practitioner. Before joining ALU, he was a lecturer in real estate & urbanism for 10 years and has also undertaken several research assignments on donor-funded projects in Rwanda. Fred leads mission curators–a team dedicated to mentoring and helping students discover and refine their missions. Fred holds a doctoral degree in urban development from Technological University of Dresden (Germany) and a master’s degree in global urban development and planning from University of Manchester (UK) and Bachelor’s degree in real estate management and valuation (Kigali Institute of Science and Technology).
